INFORMATION
Daniel
first started his drama training at Mid Kent College where he studied a
two year BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts with his specialist
being Acting. He then furthered his drama training by gaining a place
at Rose Bruford drama college. At Rose Bruford Daniel has been learning
techniques that range from Meyerhold's
Biomachanics to Stanislavski's
Method.
The course at Rose Bruford has enabled Daniel to study a varied range of key European practitioners that have had major influences on theatre as we see it today. So not only does Daniel have past acting training, he has also been able to home in on different skills to make a rounded performer. Daniel has taken a keen interest in directing as well as script writing. Currently Daniel is working on the script for his first feature film.
He also has a keen passion for teaching drama and has worked with the Youth Theatre at Rose Bruford for the past two years. His roles here have included directing two of his own created shows; one being an adaptation of The Nightmare Before Christmas.
